HOW IT WORKS

SENDER ROLE

  • • Select one of five shapes
  • • Focus on the shape mentally
  • • Try to "send" the image to your partner
  • • Don't give any verbal or physical hints

RECEIVER ROLE

  • • Close your eyes or look away during selection
  • • Try to sense which shape was chosen
  • • Make your guess within the time limit
  • • Trust your first impression

UNDERSTANDING RESULTS

With 5 shapes to choose from, random guessing gives a 20% hit rate (1 in 5 chance). This is your baseline for comparison.

  • 40%+ hit rate: Exceptional! Significantly above chance.
  • 25-40% hit rate: Above chance. Suggests possible telepathic connection.
  • 15-25% hit rate: Near chance level. Consistent with random guessing.
  • Below 15%: Below chance. Could indicate random variation.

Important: 15 rounds is a small sample size. For statistically significant results, researchers typically use 50-100+ trials. This game is for practice and exploration, not scientific proof.
